P-fac Negotiation Update

To the Columbia College Community:

We are pleased to inform you that following a marathon weekend of intense discussion and negotiation, we have come to a mutual agreement on a new contract for P-fac, our part-time faculty union.

We would like to acknowledge the hard, diligent work of our negotiating teams for both the college and the union; their dedication to finding a way and their willingness to stay focused and work through tough moments were invaluable to achieving this outcome. Coming after a long three and one half years of bargaining, we believe that this agreement marks a significant moment in the life of the college as we all recommit to moving forward together – truly a rare win-win for our school.

We look forward to the ratification of the new contract by the P-fac membership and to the successful beginning of a new school year.
