Sign the BG Petition to stop the 100 firings!

To all members:

On January 18, 2013 the administration at Bowling Green State University announced that it was eliminating 100 full-time faculty positions, nearly 1 out of every 8 faculty positions at BGSU. The administration claims that the reductions "will come from attrition, retirements and the expiration of some one-year contracts." However the truth is that the administration has given department chairs and directors a list of faculty whose contracts expire this year and told them to identify faculty for cuts.
